GM2 is Guthrie Music Ministries, thus the G and the two M’s or the
squaring effect. GM2 was founded by Alice F.B. Guthrie in March 2002 to
help promote her own love for music and to help others learn to appreciate
music.
The Ministry has grown leaps and bounds and we continue to be blessed
by the grace and love from our Savior. The Ministry provides many
services including youth and adult music workshops and band
engagements.
Our team is composed of musicians, songwriters, Praise dancers, Flag
Team and a Stepmaster, all glorifying God with their talents. GM2's team is
a loving group whose first love is for God and that is shown when they
minister through music.

What We Do

Making music is an important part of worship for the GM2 Ministry.
Worship is one of the greatest elements that makes us "who we are" as a
Ministry. We believe that God and God alone is worthy of worship. He
should be worshiped in loud, joyful, praise, for He has redeemed us and
conquered death so that we may have a right to the tree of life.
As a music ministry, the primary calling we have is to glorify God through
our music, praise and worship, praise dance, flag, ministering hands,
stepping and drums. The Ministry provides many services including piano
lessons for ages 5 and up, youth and adult music workshops and band
engagements.
We believe that worship is not about performance or entertainment. It's
about God - how we can offer praise while worshiping Him for who He
is, Giving Him all the honor that He is due, in turn preparing His people to
receive from Him, through His Word.
We are delighted you are interested in our programs. Better yet, we hope

Guthrie's Music Ministry
Our Founder

ALICE F. B. GUTHRIE of Guthrie’s Music Ministries is the daughter of
Jimmy and Mildred Bryant of Conway, AR. She graduated from Conway
High School and later received a Bachelor of Business Administration from
the University of Central Arkansas. She served as musician for Christ
Temple Holiness Church in Conway for 13 years. She has been conducting
gospel music workshops for over 26 years. Motivated by her passion for
music and ministry, Alice has hosted an annual Gospel Youth Explosion
(GYE) in Conway, AR for the past 15 years. GYE is youth gospel music
workshop designed to reach youth for Christ through arts and music.
She now resides in Dallas, TX with her husband Deacon Zachary O. Guthrie
where they are partners of New Millennium Bible Fellowship (NMBFPC)
under the leadership of Bishop J. Lee Slater , Sr. Pastor and First Lady
Pastor Donna G. Slater, Co-Pastor. Alice serves as the Minister of Music
and is also a licensed minister of New Millennium Bible Fellowship.
Alice is a member of the Gospel Music Workshop of America, the Dallas
Chapter of GMWA, the Dallas Ft. Worth Mass Choir, the Texas Mass Choir
and Chester D. T. Baldwin and Music Ministry Mass Choir recording
choirs. Alice and the NMBFPC Mass Choir recorded with recording artist
Ms Angela Hawkins of Dallas, in a musical tribute to Mahaila Jackson. Alice
is also the Founder/CEO of GUTHRIE’S MUSIC MINISTRIES and Jim’s
GEMS. She is also a certified SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before IT
Starts ) Instructor.
Alice loves to minister through music and her motto is
“Make It Personal”
